AUDITIONS for

LEND ME A TENOR

The Saybrook Stage Company will be holding in-person auditions for their JULY production of LEND ME A TENOR by Ken Ludwig at The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook on Wednesday, April 23rd from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The theater is located at 300 Main Street, Old Saybrook, CT

We are looking to cast the following roles only:

MAX – LEAD (Male - Age Range 25 -35) Saunders' excitable, long-suffering assistant and Maggie's suitor, forced to take Tito's place in the role of Pagliacci. Must be able to sing competently. Great comedic timing a must. (Type Reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00xPrvcUoQk) Will consider AEA actors as well as non-union. ($500. stipend for non-union actors. AEA actor hired under AEA guidelines)

DIANA – SUPPORTING (Female - Age Range 25-35) The Cleveland Grand Opera’s The opera's young vibrant soprano, who is "flinging her way" to the top. A seductive, beautiful woman (and she knows it!). No singing required. Must be comfortable to be on stage in a towel and slip/negligée. (Type Reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00xPrvcUoQk at 0:23) Non-AEA only $500. stipend.

If you are unable to attend the in-person auditions, a Zoom audition can be arranged but actors are strongly encouraged to attend the in-person auditions if possible.
